Aberfeldy 18 Year Old 'Cabernet Sauvignon Cask' Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a refined expression from the renowned Aberfeldy distillery, located in the southern Highlands of Scotland. Finished in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon casks from Napa Valley, California, this limited-edition whisky is part of the distillery's Red Wine Cask Collection, which began in 2019. The Aberfeldy 18 is bottled at 43% ABV and showcases the expertise of Malt Master Stephanie Macleod. Its deep golden amber hue signals the complexity within, reflecting the rich influence of the red wine barrels.
On the nose, this whisky presents a sweet, fruity bouquet with golden syrup, red fruit jam, and heather honey leading the charge. These aromas are joined by stewed apple, poached pear, caramel, milk chocolate, and baking spices such as cinnamon, clove, and mace. The palate is bold and vibrant, opening with juicy tropical fruits like overripe pineapple and apricot, followed by the comforting sweetness of golden syrup and floral honey. Beneath this, the whisky reveals layers of milk chocolate, caramel, and jammy red fruits, evoking berry compote and strawberry jam, while soft green fruit notes of cooked apple and poached pear round out the experience.
The finish is dry and warming, with the influence of the wine cask oak becoming more pronounced. The tannins from the red wine grip the tastebuds, and the whisky evolves with late notes of cocoa powder and plum tart. This complex, fruit-forward whisky offers a rich, layered tasting experience, perfect for savoring on its own or pairing with a fine dessert.

Shipping:
All shipments require a signature from an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older per federal law. Couriers will require a proof of ID before delivery. If an adult is unavailable to sign for the package, it may be returned. No exception can be made.
Orders are processed and shipped from the ShopBourbon facility Monday through Friday. Please allow up to three (3) business days to process shipping orders.

Orders that are refused or returned after three (3) delivery attempts shall be refunded for the value of the product only. Shipping charges are not refundable and returned orders incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the return shipping fee.
Wine and other delicate products may be weather sensitive. Shipment of these items may be delayed at the ShopBourbon team's discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing. ShopBourbon is not responsible for damaged wines due to ground services.
