Bava Pianoalto Nizza 2001
Bava Pianoalto Nizza 2001 is a distinguished red wine from the Piedmont region of Italy. Known for its deep garnet color, this wine showcases the exceptional quality of the Barbera grape. It stands out as a superb representation of the Nizza DOCG, an area celebrated for producing some of Italy’s finest Barbera wines.
On the palate, Bava Pianoalto Nizza 2001 offers rich and complex flavors of ripe red cherries, plums, and blackberries, complemented by subtle hints of spice and oak. The nose reveals an inviting bouquet of dark fruit, tobacco, and earthy undertones, with a touch of vanilla and leather adding to its aromatic complexity. This wine is full-bodied with a balanced acidity, making it both elegant and robust.
Crafted from 100% Barbera grapes, Bava Pianoalto Nizza 2001 has an alcohol content of 14%. Traditionally, it is enjoyed at room temperature and pairs beautifully with rich meats, game, and aged cheeses. Its refined structure and depth of flavor make it a perfect choice for special occasions or as a centerpiece in a wine enthusiast's collection.
