Benriach Malting Season Batch 2 hails from the heart of Speyside, Scotland, where traditional whisky-making methods are honored. This limited-edition single malt showcases the distillery's commitment to craftsmanship, using floor-malted Concerto barley, a technique that has become increasingly rare in the industry. Master Blender Rachel Barrie personally selected this barley for its wholesome cereal flavor, which imparts a unique character to the whisky, blending heritage with innovation.
The whisky is matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon and new charred oak barrels, which contribute to its rich, layered profile. On the nose, it reveals inviting aromas of orchard fruits, honeyed malt, and delicate spices, leading to a palate filled with notes of ripe apple, creamy vanilla, and hints of toasted oak. The finish is smooth and well-rounded, with a lingering touch of sweet malt and subtle spice, making it both approachable and complex.

Due to state regulations, ShopBourbon is only able to accept alcohol returns in the event that the product is spoiled. In the event that the bottle sustains major damage during transit, ShopBourbon will refund or replace the product. Please reach out to hello@ShopBourbon.com regarding any damaged items and include photos of the damaged product and packaging.

Shipping:
All shipments require a signature from an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older per federal law. Couriers will require a proof of ID before delivery. If an adult is unavailable to sign for the package, it may be returned. No exception can be made.
Orders are processed and shipped from the ShopBourbon facility Monday through Friday. Please allow up to three (3) business days to process shipping orders.
Ground shipping times are best estimates, but are not guaranteed by the shipping couriers.
Orders that are refused or returned after three (3) delivery attempts shall be refunded for the value of the product only. Shipping charges are not refundable and returned orders incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the return shipping fee.
Wine and other delicate products may be weather sensitive. Shipment of these items may be delayed at the ShopBourbon team's discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing. ShopBourbon is not responsible for damaged wines due to ground services.
ShopBourbon is unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.Â
