Benriach Malting Season Batch 3 pays homage to the distillery’s rich heritage, showcasing the traditional floor malting process that has been a hallmark of Benriach for over 120 years. Crafted in Speyside, Scotland, this single malt is produced exclusively from hand-malted Concerto barley, honoring the legacy of founder John Duff. The whisky is aged in a combination of bourbon and new oak casks, which impart depth and complexity, resulting in a spirit that reflects the craftsmanship of Benriach’s historic malt house.
On the nose, expect an inviting blend of freshly harvested barley, orchard fruits, and wild bergamot, with hints of pear and meadow honey layered over roasted malt. The palate reveals a smooth and creamy texture, bursting with vibrant notes of clementine, floral honey, and sweet barley spices. The finish is long and satisfying, with flavors of apricot, malted almonds, and a subtle hint of wild cherry that linger gracefully.
Bottled at 48.3% ABV and unpeated, this edition captures the spirit of the malting season with its unique balance of fruit, spice, and malted richness. Best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its layered flavors, though a few drops of water can open up its complex profile.
Returns:
Due to state regulations, ShopBourbon is only able to accept alcohol returns in the event that the product is spoiled. In the event that the bottle sustains major damage during transit, ShopBourbon will refund or replace the product. Please reach out to hello@ShopBourbon.com regarding any damaged items and include photos of the damaged product and packaging.

Shipping:
All shipments require a signature from an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older per federal law. Couriers will require a proof of ID before delivery. If an adult is unavailable to sign for the package, it may be returned. No exception can be made.
Orders are processed and shipped from the ShopBourbon facility Monday through Friday. Please allow up to three (3) business days to process shipping orders.
Ground shipping times are best estimates, but are not guaranteed by the shipping couriers.
Orders that are refused or returned after three (3) delivery attempts shall be refunded for the value of the product only. Shipping charges are not refundable and returned orders incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the return shipping fee.
Wine and other delicate products may be weather sensitive. Shipment of these items may be delayed at the ShopBourbon team's discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing. ShopBourbon is not responsible for damaged wines due to ground services.
ShopBourbon is unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, Army Post Offices (APO), Fleet Post Offices (FPO), or freight forwarding companies.
