Foursquare ECS Mark XXVI ‘Magisterium’ is a testament to the art of Barbadian rum craftsmanship, blending tradition and innovation. This single blended rum combines pot and column still distillates aged for 11 years in ex-bourbon casks, followed by an additional maturation in ex-cognac casks. The result is a rich and nuanced spirit that reflects Foursquare’s "Exceptional Cask Selection" ethos. The name "Magisterium," meaning "teaching authority" in Latin, pays homage to master distiller Richard Seale’s dedication to authentic rum-making practices.
On the nose, Magisterium delights with aromas of dried fruits like raisins and figs, layered with dark chocolate, toasted oak, and subtle spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate unfolds luxuriously with notes of caramel, black cherries, and roasted nuts, intertwined with hints of orange zest and warming spices. The finish is long and satisfying, offering lingering flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, and tropical fruits, balanced by gentle oak tannins and a delicate dryness.

Returns:
Due to state regulations, ShopBourbon is only able to accept alcohol returns in the event that the product is spoiled. In the event that the bottle sustains major damage during transit, ShopBourbon will refund or replace the product. Please reach out to hello@ShopBourbon.com regarding any damaged items and include photos of the damaged product and packaging.

Shipping:
All shipments require a signature from an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older per federal law. Couriers will require a proof of ID before delivery. If an adult is unavailable to sign for the package, it may be returned. No exception can be made.
Orders are processed and shipped from the ShopBourbon facility Monday through Friday. Please allow up to three (3) business days to process shipping orders.
Ground shipping times are best estimates, but are not guaranteed by the shipping couriers.
Orders that are refused or returned after three (3) delivery attempts shall be refunded for the value of the product only. Shipping charges are not refundable and returned orders incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the return shipping fee.
Wine and other delicate products may be weather sensitive. Shipment of these items may be delayed at the ShopBourbon team's discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing. ShopBourbon is not responsible for damaged wines due to ground services.
