Product description
Shipping & Return

We proudly present the Herradura Double Barrel Private Pick Anejo Tequila, a unique and exclusive collaboration with Vintage Wine & Spirits.

Setting itself apart from the standard Anejo offering, which undergoes a 25-month aging process in new American White Oak barrels, this special release undergoes a similar period but in a Toasted Oak Barrel before being transferred to a new barrel for an additional one-month finishing process. This meticulous maturation contributes to a tequila that stands out for its refined taste and complexity.

Upon nosing, the tequila reveals a rich combination of fresh agave, cracked black pepper, and cilantro, followed by a delightful medley of fresh fruits. Subtle notes of caramel, vanilla, and a hint of honey add layers of complexity to the aromatic profile. The palate unfolds with a peppery kick, accompanied by a touch of honey and a subtle wisp of smoke. Throughout the experience, nuanced umami notes play alongside hints of vanilla and a touch of clove, ultimately giving way to a sensation best described as "fresh." The tequila's journey culminates in the beautifully expressed flavors of freshly cooked and ripe agave, creating a truly exceptional sipping experience.

Herradura, translating to "Horseshoe" in English, originates from the rich tequila-producing region near Amatitán, Jalisco. Crafted with 100% Blue Weber Agave, this tequila embodies the essence of quality and tradition. In the glass, the Double Barrel Anejo presents a stunning golden straw hue, inviting anticipation for the sensory journey that awaits.
