Product description

Myers's Original Dark Rum hails from Jamaica, a region renowned for its rich rum-making heritage. Crafted since 1879, this rum embodies the spirit of the Caribbean with its deep, complex flavors. It's made from 100% Jamaican molasses, aged for up to four years in white oak barrels, imparting a dark, rich character that showcases its traditional pot still roots.

On the palate, Myers's Original Dark Rum delivers a robust profile of toffee, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee, complemented by notes of dried fruit and a hint of smoky oak. The nose is inviting, with aromas of caramel, vanilla, and spices that evoke the warmth of a tropical island. Its full-bodied nature and smooth finish make it an ideal base for cocktails like the classic Mai Tai or Dark 'n' Stormy.

Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a mixer, this rum stands out for its deep, molasses-driven complexity and versatility. It's perfect for those looking to add a touch of Jamaican authenticity to their drinks, with a lingering richness that elevates any sipping experience.
