Old Potrero 18th Century Style Single Malt Rye Whiskey is crafted in the historic Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco. This whiskey pays homage to America's earliest distilling traditions, aiming to recreate the original American rye spirit. Distilled in a small copper pot still, it is made from a mash bill of 100% rye malt, a nod to the grain favored by the nation’s first distillers. This dedication to tradition sets the stage for a whiskey that captures the robust character of early American spirits.
The whiskey is aged between 2 years and 5 months to 3 years and 9 months in new, uncharred oak barrels. This unique aging process allows the pure rye flavors to shine, imparting a balance of sweet spice, earthy grain, and light herbal undertones. Expect notes of toasted rye bread, warm cinnamon, and a hint of vanilla, with a smooth, lingering finish that hints at dried fruit and soft oak.

Due to state regulations, ShopBourbon is only able to accept alcohol returns in the event that the product is spoiled. In the event that the bottle sustains major damage during transit, ShopBourbon will refund or replace the product. Please reach out to hello@ShopBourbon.com regarding any damaged items and include photos of the damaged product and packaging.

Shipping:
All shipments require a signature from an adult twenty-one (21) years of age or older per federal law. Couriers will require a proof of ID before delivery. If an adult is unavailable to sign for the package, it may be returned. No exception can be made.
Orders are processed and shipped from the ShopBourbon facility Monday through Friday. Please allow up to three (3) business days to process shipping orders.
Ground shipping times are best estimates, but are not guaranteed by the shipping couriers.
Orders that are refused or returned after three (3) delivery attempts shall be refunded for the value of the product only. Shipping charges are not refundable and returned orders incur a secondary shipping charge to cover the return shipping fee.
Wine and other delicate products may be weather sensitive. Shipment of these items may be delayed at the ShopBourbon team's discretion to prevent heat damage or freezing. ShopBourbon is not responsible for damaged wines due to ground services.
